Gen Again’s Blog

I went to the US with my family for my summer vacation.  I went because I always go during my summer vacation and its always fantastic.  This is a recount about my summer vacation.

First I went to the East Coast so my sister could look at the colleges that she wants to go to.  Since I’m not into the idea of going to college on the East Coast it was kinda boring and there were lots lot college tours and stuff that we had to go to which was also boring.  I quite liked visiting the East Coast cities such as, Montreal, DC, Boston, New York, Providence, etc. That was fun.  It was quite interesting to see how each city was different in its own way.  Each city kind of had it’s own atmosphere to it which was pleasant.  Some city’s atmosphere was very depressing, like Wostceter, while other cities had an upbeat, optimistic atmosphere like New York or Boston.  We saw these cities in the summer. so I don’t know what these cities are like in the winter time so I don’t know what these cities are like thin the winter time, so I don’t think I can really judge a city until I know what the weather is like all year round.  

Then I went to Arrowbear Music Camp.  I went to the Jazz and Chorale one week session.  It was kind of fun.  I didn’t know the Jazz could be so free and improvised.  I wouldn’t want to do again because I don’t really play much percussion at school anymore so I think music camp would get harder every year.
